Thursday marked a historic day for the world, in years to come September 11 won't only be considered America's greatest tragedy but will be considered the day the switch was flipped to the machine that allowed man to see into the beginning moments of the Universe; And on September 12, 2008 history will remember it as the day that machine was hacked by hackers.

Chrome: Day 2

 Day 2 of google chrome and they keep on moving. Chrome is Googles new web browser launching yesterday, that's September 2nd, 2008.  The browser was released exclusively for windows, leaving Mac and Linux users hunting for a Virtual Machine to try out googles hot new browser.

Palin vs Bears

Palin vs Bears is a site being developed by Poshy Former Suicide Girl, and very much an upcoming celebrity within the tech social world.

The gist of the site is to make people aware of Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin's opposition on putting the Polar Bear on the endangered species list. Claiming this is a premature action to protect arctic creatures from climate changes. Another side note is that Palin enjoys hunting Polar Bear as sport.

Surf Google with Google

Google is no stranger to being the underdog when it comes to trying to play with the big boys. They've already proven themselves when it comes to the search engine game, having stepped over yahoo and MSN on the top search engine. They've also become quite the trendsetter when it comes to email, being the first to introducing the world to a 2 gig web mail account. Now Google's wandered into the browser business with the release of Chrome.

Possibly the End of E3?

For the past two years the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), has turned from new years eve for gamers to scaled down conference for professionals in the gaming industry. While the isles were once filled with attendants eager to get to try the newest games set to release in the coming year, gawking at gorgeous booth babes in the costumes of their favorite heroine from all kinds of games. It seems that this years E3, is the worse one yet, going from 60,000 attendee's back in 2006 to 3,000 -5,000 in 2007 and 2008.

RIP Mouse - 2013?

Prepare to lay to rest your dear old friend the mouse. Your companion, as you're at home surfing the internet, at work playing solitaire will soon be laid to rest; or so that's what experts are saying. Apparently within the next five years the mouse will be replaced. They're replacements? Touch screens and Wiimotes.

Techies Gone Wild!

Earlier this week playboy announced a web poll on who's the web's hottest blogger. The poll listed nine female bloggers/internet personalities among the list is Veronica Belmont, Sarah Lacy, and Sarah Austin; having people vote who they felt is the hottest one, granting the winner a chance to pose for playboy. Oh, and when they say "pose" they mean showing the goods, as in topless. The response of many of the selected contestants is that if they win they would not pose for playboy.
